Квартал-Kvartal. It's a block of houses Дом- Dom. House Подъезд - Podyezd. It's a part of a house. It has a separate entrance, consists of several floors and many apartments. Ðтаж- Etage. Floor Квартира- Kwartira. Apartment. It has one or several rooms, kitchen, toilet, bathroom. Sometimes students and young workers are living in a hostel (obshejitiye - общежитие) for several years. There are many rooms and one or two kitchens and bathrooms on every floor. If there is one separate bathroom for 2 or 3 rooms it's a block of rooms (блок комнат - block komnat).
