What makes it rain? well I was told that if I kill a lot of ants It'll rain that day lol. That's obviously a myth. What makes it rain? You need water plus other components: Water+Evaporation+Condensation=Precipitation The water around the area you live in evaporates due to heat. This is the process of changing the state of matter, or changing a liquid[water] into a gas[water vapor]. Next the water vapor cools while at a high altitude and causes condensation. This is changing the gas[water vapor] back into liquid[water]. Now the water falls from the sky which is also known as precipitation which we call rain.(it can also be snow, hail, or sleet).

on a hot and humid day a cold front can pass picking up the humidity in the air( humidity is how much water is in the air) and cause flash floods

work in Central Asia (mainly Mongolia or Tajikistan)

work in Central Asia (mainly Mongolia or Tajikistan)?
I want to know for any of you out there who may be Tajik, Mongolian, Uzbek, Kazakh, Turkmen, Kyrgyz, or Afghan if any of these countries would need veterinarians. I'm looking for international veterinary work in Central Asia and I would love to live there and help out the farmers/herders. Also, which region in these countries is of greatest need?

umm i dont think mongolia would have any international vet relations because i dont even think there are that many vets to be honest u dont think most dogs get vaccinations. and if anything in ulaan bataar would need one. i doubt the country side families would get their dogs vaccinated or anything like that

Is this a volunteer position you're thinking of? I don't think you'd be able to get paying work, unless you get a grant from some university or government in a developed country. Write the embassies. Write the WHO. Are you a vet now? If so, call your alma mater and ask them.

They're still alive and kickin'. You have to keep in mind that they are being locked in between Russia and China. This means they had about half of century of communism in their country. And since there aren't many of them, although they have a big country, this means they have a lot to do there. Since you're asking this question in the Military forum, I assume you'd like to know how is their army? Well, the days of Genghis-Khan are long gone. Still, with that whole lot of territory, they have quite a problem with robbers and smugglers hiding in the mountains. Also, a small unit of Mongolian troops (either one platoon, or one company) is serving as guard unit in Iraq, Divanniya Base - Multinational Division North-East. I've read in a magazine recently that they are highly respected there, for they are brave, watchful and very patient guards when on-duty (and they have proven already that they are excellent marksmen and don't loose their nerve in combat) - and cheerful, genuine companions when off-duty.

I had the chance to go in Mongolia and I can tell you that people do live there and there is still a lot going on. I think we don't hear from it just like we don't from many other countries -- do we ever hear of Ouzbekistan, Nepal, Slovenia, Togo, etc? When our own country doesn't feel concerned about what's happening in these countries, the medias don't talk about them. If you would like to know more about Mongolia, just make a search on Google -- type keywords like Mongolia news, Mongolia culture, etc. depending on which topics you're interested in -- and you'll find a lot. If you are interested in my personal experience in Mongolia, just write me and I'll be glad to answer all your questions.
