What countries are located on the peninsula northeast of China? South Korea and North Korea 4. How large is China compared with other countries in Asia? It is the largest country in Asia (with the exception of the Asian part of Russia) in terms of both area and population. 5. China is a much richer country agriculturally and resource wise.

How large China is: The North Asia, loosely called Siberia that is part of 'Russia' is about 1 1/2 times China (3.6 million sq.miles) which is the third largest country in the world (after Russia & Canada).
