Best I've lived in is not on your list - Malawi. Ireland's good too and so is Italy. Better still is the Kingdom of Rask.

Well UK is okay, i live there. There is quite a lot to do and you don't see many poor people well at least none that's obvious. Also it's quite decent when it comes to money wise as you can get alot of cheap things and living standards are okay. But downside the weather is sooo messed up lool. anyways there was my long paragraph so extra (nerdiness) :] hope i helped.

Denmark! It seems obscure, but they were rated the happiest country in the world. I lived with a Danish family as part of an exchange program, and it was really wonderful. Everyone there is very well educated - even the university level is free! (of course, there's no such thing as "free"- there are very high taxes, but well worth it in my opinion) Furthermore, there is almost no language barrier - everyone - from school children to waiters to shop clerks - speaks English almost as fluently as they speak Danish. My Danish family had more American movies that I have! If you're looking for a country where the culture is so different but the people are exactly the same, Denmark is a wonderful place.

I've been living in Italy for the past ten years and it's a great place to live. Wonderful people, great food, excellent healthcare, lots of things to see and do and it's easy to get around using the public transportation system.

Well, denmark is where i live and i haven't not been too all those countries actually i have only traveled a little bit, but i really like denmark, its a very safe place too be, no poor people on the streets because if you don't have money or job, the government gives you a place too live and money, and the education is really good AND FREE, so are the health care you can go see you doctor anytime without paying.. and we do learn english from early in school so even if you cant speak danish you should have no problem talking too people... i would also say there is very little crime, and most people are also very friendly.. and that new test that shows denmark is the most happy place on earth, i think its right, its really good here, well exept for the taxes we have some of the highest in the world.....!!! and the weather can be cold because it so long up in the north, but in the summer its hot and we have lot off good beaches....

What one person's idea of a nice place to live, may not be yours. Many of the countries you've listed are far from developed in my opinion and you've also mentioned two of them twice.
